Brunch, the love child of the two best meals of the day. Itself, not just a meal, but a time of day in which calorie counting doesn't exist and drinking before noon is completely acceptable. Chicken and waffles, breakfast potatoes and perfectly cooked brisket, bloody marys and mimosas. Atlanta Brunch Festival brought us all of this and more. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. With well over 20 restaurants, there were plenty of food options to please even the pickiest of palates. The chicken chilaquiles from Guaco Joe’s and the peanut butter French toast from Einstein's were my top two faves.
[box]There was no skimping on the drinks either. The mimosas, manmosas and bloody marys were being poored strong and there was wine and beer for those seeking something a little lighter. They even had Banjo Cold Brew Coffee there serving up coffee on draft. That's right, on draft!
It's now my newest addiction. I will definitely be stalking them on all forms of social media to see where that little cart will be next. I'll also be keeping my eyes out for the next brunch festival, so start planning it Atlanta Beer Festivals and Atlanta Wine Party![/box]
